The Finance Department prepares the city’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The CAFR is comprised of four sections: Introductory Section, Financial Section, Statistical Section, and Compliance Section.
The Financial Section includes the report of the city’s independent auditors as well as the financial statements for the city and the Wilton Manors Pension Plan as well as other important information. One part of the Financial Section of particular interest to the general public is Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A). The MD&A is a good way to get a thumbnail sketch of the city’s financial condition.
