Volunteer

Library volunteers play an important role as partners in the Library's mission of connecting people to the world of ideas and information.

If you would like to help our staff work with materials in the collection or connect others to our catalog and the Internet, we have some rewarding opportunities that might suit you! We're looking for people willing to donate just a few hours of their time on an ongoing basis.

Volunteer opportunities at the Library may include the following: shelf reader (making certain our collection is in the correct order), computer assistant (helping others sign onto the Library catalog or the Internet), program support, or tutoring youth in our Children's Services Department.

For more information about becoming a volunteer, please call the Library at (954) 390-2195.
