We missed connecting with our community members during National Night Out last year and are excited to share it will return this year!

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Each year the City of Wilton Manors and the Wilton Manors Police Department celebrate National Night Out with block parties throughout our community on the first Tuesday in August.

What is National Night Out?
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

NNO is designed to:
Decrease crime
Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships
Get to know your neighbors

How Can I Participate?
Neighborhoods across the nation participate each year and host pot lucks, ice cream socials, block gatherings, and activities for kids. Join together with your neighbors, families, and friends to host your own neighborhood event.

Your participation in this annual event tells others that you:
Want to make your neighborhood safer
Want to build a strong relationship with public safety officials
Want to promote a sense of community
